  2. Saidu Fofanah on February 18, 2020 at 7:51 pm

I tried it, but it came out so cheesy at the end, it looked like a grill cheese sandwich, and I didn’t get enough lift on the bread

This looks amazing! Heading to Trader Joe’s to pick up some stuff to make this…what can you sub for xanthan gum?

I failed again on keto because I can’t resist without bread, however, I can’t wait to get money from my job to buy the ingredients to make these bagels! It will definitely save me.

  9. sgreen4 on February 18, 2020 at 7:57 pm

I made it with 1/2cup almond flour and 1/4 cup coconut flour. Making a bagel was too hard like in the video. The easiest is to make a ball. Then flatten the ball. Then poke a hole in it.

Can you make a few of those and put it in a fridge or even freeze it and if so how long ?

wOW…what a find!!! I can’t wait to make the bagels and pizza and etc, etc.

  25. Ann Yes on February 18, 2020 at 8:18 pm

Barring the carbs a regular bagel is 289 calories. This "healthier" version is 605 calories? It looks amazing and I want it, no doubt, but not at that tradeoff. I can have a full plate of food and save a couple hundred calories in the bargain.

  26. Christine Harvey on February 18, 2020 at 8:19 pm

Hi, would I be able to use psyllium fiber as a replacement to xantham gum? If yes, same amount? Or? Thank you!

  28. g0phuckyourself on February 18, 2020 at 8:20 pm

This is hardly healthy even if its low carb. Bacon contains sulphites and has been linked to cancer, there is tons of dairy in this recipe which contains lactose which can cause inflammation. You might be okay if this is all you’re eating for the day but…I will say the dough part is the most useful

  29. MJ Adams on February 18, 2020 at 8:21 pm

I know this as fat head dough; this dough has different names. Versatile recipe; it’s a keeper 🙂 Use it to make the pizza!
