Exercises for Parkinson's: Strengthening Exercises

Growing older means your muscles get weaker. For people with Parkinson’s, this weakness in muscles is often greater. Hence, it is important to include strength training as part of your regular exercise programme. Join us in these basic exercises designed to help improve strength and balance.

    I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 3 years ago at the age of 59. For several months I had noticed tremors in my right hand and the shaking of my right foot when I was sitting. My normally beautiful cursive writing was now small cramped printing. And I tended to lose my balance. Neurologist had me walk down the hall and said I didn’t swing my right arm. I had never noticed!     This exercise is too fast.I feel that you should split it into 2 parts.Its very hard to follow
