For bone broth you can also get sancocho at a Puerto Rican or Dominican restaurant. It’s made with cow or pig feet bones.

Since I was a little girl I’ve always loved gnawing on the bones left after Sunday dinner…lamb, chicken etc. My Mum would automatically hand me the huge lamb joint bone and off I’d go! Now my teen son and I both love crispy skin in chicken and we both eat the gristle and tendons, marrow, the lot. My husband turns green. I draw the line at salmon skin but my son loves that too. He even eats the eggshells!! I can’t do that. The only thing I’d worry about is how much fat we’re ingesting with all that skin. My husband worries for us. Is it an issue do you think?

The way they handle & feed all the animals, how do you even know if the chicken beef ect, bones & skin is even good??? Or does it not even matter if these are in good condition? There’s other health people that say don’t eat the skin of chicken because the antibiotics they give them stays in the skin 😬. So how do you know your making the bone broth or eating the bones, cartilage ect is healthy???

I don,t really think I can drink bone both ever day or consume all the meat I should. That’s where powder might be helpful.

  25. D John on April 20, 2020 at 10:21 am

Sams Chicken leftovers in an instant pot pressure cooker for about 10 minutes. Gives a great bone broth using the left overs with some meat on the bones.

  26. acer1126 on April 20, 2020 at 10:23 am

I cook chicken’s feet with the nails on in my Instant pot with onion, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and 1 star anise for 1 hr. Remove the toenails and enjoy. Drink the both all week.

  47. sugarstone233 on April 20, 2020 at 10:48 am

Your video title is misleading, it reads 7 brands for 2019. You didn’t list any brands of collagen. I already knew about ways to get collagen via bone broth, chicken, salmon, sardines, but I was looking for a recommendation for alternatives.
